The Gift

The gift of a hug is always a part of everyone’s budget but the gift of Jesus and His everlasting hug is the most valuable gift. It is the promise of heaven. It is the best hug you could ever receive.

“The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.” – Deuteronomy 33:27

Imagine feeling nurtured in eternal love, a peace that is timeless and limitless.

Imagine opening your arms up to the happiness of the season. The gift of a hug, a smile, a kind word or extending your arms in hospitality cannot be underestimated.

To ‘Relax-n-Renew’ is a gift.

Release Tension … Look and Feel Better … Be Joyful and More Productive … Relax-n-Renew!

The soothing music and positive suggestions of ‘Relax-n-Renew’ has helped people with insomnia, deal with grief, relive stress and just feel better.

I invite you to download this inspirational collection of Guided Imagery. Simply click on to the picture of the Relax-n-Renew CD above for more information and music samples.

I am grateful for the wonders of God, my family, friends, the beauty of nature and the opportunity to touch the lives of others in a positive way. My work as a Lifestyle Educator in the Healthy Living Center at Kaiser Permanente is a blessing. This is where I teach fitness classes and use the techniques of deep breathing and Guided Imagery. ‘Relax-n-Renew’ was created at the request of my students. It was a labor of love when my brother Al Alberici, a music professional and Christian music minister composed and recorded the beautiful music.

Let us continue to be grateful with Thanksgiving thoughts to guide us into the gift of Christmas.

“Thanksgiving looks up with every breath, and sees God as Father from whom all blessings come.

Thanksgiving is praise. The heart is full of gratitude. Every moment has something in it to inspire love. The lilies made Jesus think of his Father, for it was he who clothed them in beauty.

The providence of our lives, if we think rightly of it, is simply God caring for us. Our circumstances may sometimes be hard, our experiences painful, and we may see nothing in them to make us glad. But faith teaches us that God is always good and always kind, whatever the present events may be.

We may be thankful, therefore, even when we cannot be glad. Our hearts may be grateful, knowing that good will come to us even out of pain and loss.” Excerpt from the Thanksgiving Lesson by J. R. Miller, 1912

Have a blessed Holiday season and remember that the birth of Christ in your heart is ‘The Gift’ that keeps on giving.

  1. Dennis and I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, Maria. He mentioned seeing you at Woodland Hills, Kaiser.
We’re now in Washington full time. I’ve been making lots of soup due to cold weather.
We’re feeling part of the community. Our local Catholic Church had a very nice midnight Mass. And we have kind and generous neighbors.
We wish you happiness throughout the New Year and during the holiday season.

    • Hi, Laura! I had to do a double-take when I saw your hubby out of the corner of my eye. I’m glad you’re both doing well in your new location. I’ve been eating lots of soup too… a good way to combat the cold weather, for sure! I miss the both of you in my Yoga classes. Don’t forget to stretch! Wishing you many blessings. 🙂
