The Alberici Sisters co-starred with celebrities like Jay Leno, Bobby Vinton, Norm Crosby, Donny & Marie Osmond… etc., also headlining to glowing reviews in leading showrooms such as Studio One – Los Angeles; The Mandarin – Singapore; Atlantic City Main Room Casino’s like the Golden Nugget and Harrah’s; Las Vegas Main Room Casinos such as the MGM Grand and a tour of Japan. In 1977, The Golddiggers with Maria Lauren and her sister Linda Eichberg opened for the “Rat Pack Tour” starring Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Following that tour, Maria and Linda’s sister, Darlene joined The Golddiggers to tour with Donald O’Connor, Dick Shawn, and Milton Berle where Maria Lauren proved her comedic/acting ability as the leading lady in the star-studded Vaudeville skit. In 1973, after a national audition, the Alberici Sisters, Maria Lauren, and her sister, Linda Eichberg were flown to Hollywood to be members of the original Golddiggers of The Dean Martin Comedy Hour and did many Dean Martin TV Specials.  The Golddiggers including Maria and Linda, Alberici Sisters, co-starred with Dean Martin and many Celebrities at the opening of the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, and also co-starred at Caesar’s Palace.  Some of the stars that they appeared with on stage and television were: Gene Kelly, Bob Hope, Joan Rivers and Jerry Lewis, Louie Prima, Jerry Vale, Bobby Goldsboro, Steve Lawrence & Eydie Gorme, and many more. They also performed on The Tonight Show and were regulars on The Jonathan Winters Show, The Mike Douglas Show, and many other television series. Making History… Two-time National Fitness Champion Two-time National Winner – Maria Elena Alberici – Riccio, (aka) Maria Lauren Maria Lauren (aka) Maria Elena Alberici, as listed in the Almanac of Woman’s Bodybuilding was the first woman to win two National Fitness Championships in one year: Miss Body Beautiful USA and Miss Americana in 1972. Maria also graced the cover of Strength and Health magazine, Vegetarian Times and has been featured in many publications.  INTERESTING FACTS… Maria Lauren is the oldest of nine children who were brought up to value health and fitness and was raised on a plant-based diet. As a teenager, Maria starred in many off-Broadway musicals and local television shows in her hometown of Philadelphia. Her mom was a Big Band singer, so Maria began singing with bands at an early age and learned the vocal techniques of Enrico Rosati, (Maria Lanza’s teacher) from her dad. Maria Lauren continued studying voice in New York and Los Angeles from noteworthy teachers that included Seth Riggs.  Today, Maria shares her extensive experience in fitness and singing with her clients and continues to entertain.
