Recipe for the Holidays: Relax-n-Renew

Release Tension … Look and Feel Better … Be Joyful and More Productive … Relax-n-Renew!

Help! Trying to cope with stress and stay sane throughout the holidays? Imagine feeling nurtured in eternal love and peace, timeless and limitless. Imagine giving yourself time to take deep cleansing breadths while opening up to the happiness of the season … Ahhh!

Relax-n-Renew to give yourself and those you love the gift of a spiritual, mental and physical experience of well-being. This inspirational CD of Guided Imagery is a gift that keeps on giving whenever you or your loved one listens to it. The soothing music and positive suggestions has helped people with insomnia, deal with grief, de-stress and just feel better.

Listening to the needs of others has been the inspiration for Relax-n-Renew. Since the late 80’s, I have been using Breathing Techniques and Guided Imagery in my fitness classes. My students steadily requested that I make a CD of my voice guiding them through relaxing visualizations that they could use at home. It was a labor of love when my brother Albert, a music pro and music minister created and recorded the beautiful music. Many of you have been patient as Relax-n-Renew evolved. Thank you.

Let us continue to give thanks for the remainder of the Holidays. I am grateful for my family and friends and being a Lifestyle Educator for an organization that is dedicated to health, helps patients stay well, get well and thrive at Kaiser Permanente.

A meditation or prayer: Thanksgiving looks up with every breath, and sees God as Father from whom all blessings come. Thanksgiving is praise. The heart is full of gratitude. Every moment has something in it to inspire love. The lilies made Jesus think of his Father, for it was he who clothed them in beauty. The providence of our lives, if we think rightly of it, is simply God caring for us. Our circumstances may sometimes be hard, our experiences painful, and we may see nothing in them to make us glad. But faith teaches us that God is always good and always kind, whatever the present events may be. We may be thankful, therefore, even when we cannot be glad. Our hearts may be grateful, knowing that good will come to us even out of pain and loss. – Excerpt from the Thanksgiving Lesson by J. R. Miller, 1912

  1. I really love your caring warm voice. I’m also attracted to the positive content that I find so inspirational. I listen at all different times during the day esp. when I need to shift away from the doldrums and move my perspective to a more loving place.

    • Thanks Darlene for sharing. Through this CD, I wanted to create the feeling of being nurtured. I’m glad it fits your mood whether you want to relax or to renew.

      Love and continued Blessings,
      Maria

    • Thank you, Linda.
I’m glad that your Yoga and Pilates classes are enjoying it.
As fitness instructors, we continually nurture our students as we work with the body, mind and spirit connection. Because of this, we need to find time to replenish our energy. That was one of the reasons that I created this CD, so we have a tool to help us initiate healing in ourselves and others.
May God continue to bless you in your teaching and in your life,
      Maria

  2. I love this CD…! My life is so busy. I find the soothing guided-meditation calming and restorative. I teach alot of classes. Sometimes they ask me afterwards if there’s something that I might suggest that could help them to relax at night and for stress-relief during the day. I tell them this is what works for me…!
